MEET THE NEWBOTTLE AND CHARLTON PRESCHOOL COMMITTEE
Newbottle and Charlton PreSchool is a committee led, registered charity. The committee consists of volunteer parents, carers and members of the community, all of whom are dedicated to serving the best interests of the preschool, its children, the staff and the community.
The committee is responsible for establishing policies, managing and engaging staff, fundraising and organising social events. The responsibility of the day-to-day operations lies with our wonderful Manager Sam Axtell and her dedicated team. The committee meets every 6 weeks and our Annual General Meeting is held in the Autumn term when the committee for the following year is selected. Parents and carers will be informed in good time when this is going to take place so that they are able to attend.
We rely on fundraising to enable the purchase of new equipment, fund activities and to provide staff training. A number of events are organised throughout the year. We are always looking for new members to assist with the fundraising ventures and welcome any of our parents or carers who would like to join us in this endeavour.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our preschool and we are always in need of new members, as naturally we lose parents when their child moves on to primary school. Legally we are unable to operate without a healthy committee, so if you are a new or existing parent or carer and are interested in joining a friendly and hard working team, please email us at newbottleandcharltonpreschool@outlook.com and the Chair of the committee will contact you to discuss further.
